DOF wins Petrobras contract for Skandi Vitoria

STOREBØ, Norway -- Petrobras has awarded the Brazilian built PLSV Skandi Vitoria a 532-day contract. The contract will commence in January.

According to a statement released by DOF, the vessel is owned through a joint venture with Technip.

Skandi Vitória is the first pipe-lay vessel built in Brazil, equipped with vertical and horizontal pipe-lay systems, a 250 mt crane and two work class ROVs.

The vessel is capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000 m.
