Dolphin's new 3D seismic vessel fully operational in Barents Sea

OSLO, Norway -- Dolphin Geophysical has announced that its high-capacity, 3D seismic vessel, Sanco Sword, is in full seismic production with 12 seismic cables, of 7 km length, on the Gohta North and Gohta East multi-client surveys in the Barents Sea.

The prospective Gohta survey areas were planned and designed together with local area operators, who also provided project pre-funding to allow for the survey to be acquired in time for the Norwegian 23rd. and APA 2014 licensing round.

Dolphin's COO, Peter Hooper commented, "We expect the same excellent operational performance from the Sanco Sword as delivered to date by her sister vessel, the Sanco Swift."
