Guardian appoints Patrick Keenan as CEO

Guardian has announced the appointment of Patrick Keenan as the company’s new CEO. He is charged with driving the company’s growth and leading expansion internationally, particularly in the US.

Keenan will focus on the commercialisation of the company’s portfolio of technology products that have been developed over the past two years.

Keenan was most recently CEO of FRAM Exploration ASA, a start-up Norwegian oil and gas exploration and production company with oil producing assets in North Dakota and Colorado in the US and onshore Trinidad. Prior to joining Fram, he served as President of GeoMechanics International (GMI), a technology spin-off from Stanford University, for seven years.

Keenan began his oil industry career in the mid-1970s when he joined Exlog, a division of Baker Hughes, Inc. He graduated with honors from the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom in 1974. In 1990, he completed the Executive Management Program at the Jesse Jones School of Business at Rice University, Houston.
