Donald Mosing—son of Frank Mosing, founder of oilfield service company Frank’s International—passed away in late May, in Lafayette, La.

Donald Mosing—son of Frank Mosing, founder of oilfield service company Frank’s International—passed away in late May, in Lafayette, La. Donald reportedly was very involved in the business’s development of exclusive equipment designs, including industry standard-setting power tongs. As the company’s first engineer, Mosing established its engineering department and held a reported 54 U.S. patents. He later served as president of Frank’s Casing Crew & Rental Tools, the original business started by Frank Mosing in 1938, until his retirement in 2011. Additionally, as a UL Lafayette alumnus and benefactor, Mosing was responsible for the creation of numerous programs and scholarships named in honor of his parents and the company, particularly those related to its College of Engineering. Mosing is survived by three sons and a daughter, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Schlumberger Limited has named Olivier Le Peuch as CEO and a member of its board. He succeeds Paal Kibsgaard, who, after more than 22 years with the company, is retiring and stepping down as chairman of the board. Additionally, non-independent Director Mark G. Papa will become non-executive chairman of the board. Le Peuch has been with Schlumberger for 32 years and has held a variety of global management positions, including executive V.P. of Reservoir and Infrastructure; president of Cameron product lines; president of Schlumberger Completions; and V.P. of Engineering, Manufacturing and Sustaining. Prior to joining Schlumberger, he was GeoMarket manager for the North Sea.

Mark King has been promoted to sales manager at Danos. He joined the company in 2012 as senior account manager, where he oversaw all aspects related to BP GOM and land operations. In his newest role, however, King will oversee the entire sales team and lead sales initiatives. Prior to joining Danos, King was an account manager with Moody Price, LLC.

ADM Energy has appointed Osamede Okhomina as CEO. He also joins the company’s board of directors. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Okhomina’s career began at Terra Energy Services, where he managed the introduction of new deepwater technologies, developed in Norway, to the Nigerian market. Okhomina also was a founding partner and CEO of Energy Equity Resources (EER), as well as a partner investor of ADM Energy in the OML 113 License, offshore Nigeria. Okhomina continues to serve as vice chairman at EER. He brings considerable expertise and governmental connections to ADM’s board, according to the company.

Rick Grant has been appointed as a non-executive director at Rose Petroleum. He has 40 years of industry experience and is co-founder and chairman of Origin Creek Energy LLC (OCE). Prior to OCE, Grant served as CEO of Suez North America LNG and then as CEO of Suez Global LNG. During his tenure, Suez reportedly grew into the world’s third-largest LNG business.

Molly Reyes, energy industry sales director, has joined the senior leadership team at WFS Technologies’ new Houston office. In her new role, Reyes will help the company to explore opportunities in the growing energy sectors of the Gulf of Mexico and North American territories. An offshore expert, Reyes brings 20 years of industry experience to her new role. She has held a variety of commercial and technical positions across subsea infrastructure, asset economics, regulatory policy and corporate strategy.

Lisa Henthorne, senior V.P. and CTO at Water Standard and Monarch Separators, has been elected president of the Produced Water Society (PWS). Henthorne has an extensive background in water treatment and technology. Prior to her election as PWS president, she served on the board for four years. Additionally, she serves as board chairman at H2O Innovation and served as president of the International Desalination Association from 2007–2009. Henthorne holds four U.S. patents and multiple foreign patents.

EnerMech has named John Guy as CEO. Guy has been with the company since 2010, when he joined as Asia-Pacific regional director in Singapore. He moved on to become COO in 2013. Guy’s oil and gas career started in the UK, where he worked on some of the largest topside and FPSO projects of the 1990s.

Munir Hassan has been appointed to head the energy sector group at CMS law firm. He replaces Robert Lane, who has led the group since its inception 15 years ago. Lane has been a partner at the firm for over 25 years. Hassan is presently head of clean energy at CMS. In his new role, however, he will oversee a global team of over 300 lawyers collaborating across 33 jurisdictions and advising clients in all aspects of the sector.

Andy Seymour has been appointed to the governing board of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA). As the global director of operational excellence at Fugro NV, Seymour brings a solid technical background, coupled with financial, commercial and management expertise, to his newest role. Seymour began his career with Fugro as a field surveyor, before continuing on to shore-based management positions, including country manager and regional director. In 2018, he became deputy division director. In addition to his new position on the board, Seymour also has held the position of chairman of IMCA’s South America Regional Committee.

Valerie Bosse has been appointed managing director of the Wintershall DEA business unit in Brazil. She succeeds Gerhard Haase, who is retiring, and Christoph Schlichter, who will now be in charge of integrating the recently acquired Sierra Oil & Gas in Mexico for Wintershall DEA. Bosse has held various positions with Wintershall since 1989 and brings extensive E&P experience to her newest role. She also has served as V.P. of Global Exploration and New Ventures since 2011.

Mark Stokes has joined Airborne Oil & Gas (AOG) as operations director. He joins the company from BHGE, where he held various senior positions over the last 18 years. Having previously held key roles in engineering and project management at its flexible pipe manufacturing facility in the UK, he will now be based at AOG’s facility in IJmuiden, in Amsterdam. In his new role, Stokes will aid in the company’s plan to enhance its existing asset management strategy.

Petrofac has named Mohammed Ghazi Al-Mutairi as country chair, Kuwait. In his new role as in-country ambassador, Al-Mutairi will represent the company, working closely with factions across the entire Petrofac portfolio. Al-Mutairi brings more than 32 years of industry experience to his new role. He served previously as chairman and board member for several other major companies in Kuwait’s oil and gas sector. Most recently, he was CEO of Kuwait National Petroleum Co.
