Onsite accommodation specialist HB Rentals opened a second district office in Pennsylvania and named Brian Chilton as Regional Operations Manager for the Northeast US. The new Pennsylvania office located in Mill Hall will coordinate with the company’s existing district office in Canonsburg, Pa., to provide equipment and services for the growing demand in the Marcellus Shale and the surrounding region.

InterMoor has named Sarah Kawas as Business Development Manager, Latin America. Based out of the company’s Houston office, Kawas will play an important role in expanding InterMoor’s service offerings in Latin America.

Apache Corp. has named Thomas Chambers as CFO. Company Presidient Roger Plank has been performing the responsibilities of both posts since being named President last year. Chambers joined the natural gas company in 1995 as Director of Corporate Planning.

Shell announced the appointment of three chief scientists to cover the industry disciplines of exploration, unconventional oil and in-well technology. This further strengthens Shell’s existing group of six top scientific experts. Dirk Smit, VP of Exploration Technologies, will be Chief Scientist for Geophysics; John Karanikas, Chief Subsurface Engineer in Unconventional Oil, will be Chief Scientist for Reservoir Engineering; and Vianney Koelman, Team Leader of In-Well Technology, will be Chief Scientist for Petrophysics.

Andrew Way has been named VP of Services for GE Oil & Gas. He joined the company in 1996 and moved to Equipment Services in 2001, where he served most recently as CEO of GE Equipment Services UK.

Multi-Chem has named Dennis Horstmann as Manager of Global Business Development, and Tony Spratt as Manager of Capex and Flow Assurance Technology. Horstmann most recently worked with BJ Services as Regional Technical Manager, Chemical Services. Spratt joins Multi-Chem from Foster Wheeler, where he was in charge of flow assurance initiatives.

Reservoir Group (RG) has appointed Simon Kendall to manage its newly augmented data business. Kendall has 30 years of expertise in oilfield exploration, production and data management. Formerly, he was a Senior Manager with Robertson Research.
