Tulsa-based Latigo Petroleum, Inc. has added several industry veterans to its Midland district office. Bill Siruta was named exploration manager for the Midland District, with more than 30 years of experience in the Permian basin. Mark Fairchild was named senior operations engineer, also with more than 30 years of Permian basin experience. Bill Chatham was added as a senior staff landman, and Leanna Adams joined as a marketing/ production analyst Both have over 20 years of experience. 

BJ Process and Pipeline Services promoted Ian Storey to the newly created position of process product line manager. The position was created as part of BJ PPS's recent restructuring of its Process Group. Storey will provide a global product line focus, maximizing resources and availability of services. He has worked in the oilfield services industry for 29 years. 

Rig equipment firm Woolslayer Companies Inc. elected Dewayne G. Vogt to be president and CEO. Vogt joined Woolslayer's predecessor company, Lee C. Moore Corp., in 1978 as an engineer, and was named chief engineer of WCI in 1990.

Cody Scace was named VP, operations, and Robin Macmillan is VP, sales and marketing, at ReedHycalog, the drill bit unit of Grant Prideco, Inc. Previously, Scace was VP, sales and marketing, at ReedHycalog. He succeeds David Black, who was named president of Grant Prideco's Tubular Technology and Services business unit earlier this year. 

Patina Oil & Gas Corp. (Denver) has hired Ted D. Brown as senior vice president, operations, and formed a five-member Executive Committee. Along with Andrew M. Ashby, senior vice president, Brown will assume oversight of all of Patina's field operations by the end of 2004. Ashby and Brown will join the Executive Committee, along with Thomas J. Edelman, Chairman and CEO, Jay W. Decker, president and COO, and David J. Kornder, executive V.P. and CFO. 

Veritas DGC Inc. appointed David F. Work to its board of directors. From 2001 until October 2003, Work served as chairman of Energy Virtual Partners, Inc., a private company that manages under-resourced oil and gas properties. Previously, he served in various management capacities with Amoco and BP. He is a director of Edge Petroleum Corp. and Crystatech Inc. 

Stephen J. Davies has been appointed chairman and CEO of Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, headquartered in the UK. Davies succeeds Ian Bill, who will remain a director of the company until September 2004. Davies has been with Foster Wheeler for 27 years and has an extensive background in a broad range of international projects. 

Superior Energy Services named J. R. Gibbons as QHSE (Quality Health, Safety and Environment) director for its Wireline and Well Performance Testing and Evaluation divisions. Gibbons has more than 23 years of operational and safety assurance experience, serving in a management position for Superior Energy for the majority of that time. 

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. announced several senior management changes. The company named Robert P. Daniels and Mark L. Pease as senior vice presidents, Exploration and Production, to oversee worldwide activities. Daniels will be responsible for the company's international and growth assets, and Pease will oversee the company's North American foundation assets. Daniels, currently VP, Canada, joined Anadarko in 1985 as a geologist and was named to his current position in 2001. Pease, currently VP, US Onshore and Offshore, joined Anadarko in 1979 as an engineer and has held various positions of increasing responsibility. Michael O. Bridges, chief engineer, will replace Daniels as president, Anadarko Canada Co. Bridges joined Anadarko in 1981. 

Jesse Perez has joined GEOTRACE as CFO. He brings with him considerable experience in the oilfield service sector. 

Thomas J. Pernice has joined the board of directors of United Heritage Corp., an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Cleburne, Texas. Pernice has served as a senior executive in the federal government and various corporations for more than 19 years. Currently, he is president and founder of Modena Holding Corp. 

Parker Drilling Co. announced that senior VP and COO Robert Nash is leaving the company. The firm is reviewing potential candidates for his position, and he will remain as a consultant to the company. 

Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. announced that A. F. Pelletier, VP and regional manager of the Gulf Coast region, has resigned to pursue other interests. 

The Houston Geological Society elected new officers. David G. Rensink has been elected to president-elect. He is a senior staff geologist with Apache Corp. in Houston. He will serve alongside current HGS president Steve Levine. Kara Bennett is the new HGS vice-president. She is an international and domestic consulting geologist in Houston. Victor Schmidt was elected secretary. He presently works as exploration editor for Offshore magazine. Ken Nemeth, a geoscientist working with GeoQuest, is the new treasurer-elect, and will serve concurrently with the present treasurer, Chuck Sharpe. James Granath is the new editor-elect for the HGS Bulletin. He is the principal consulting geologist with Granath & Associates. Granath will serve alongside Art Berman, present editor of the Bulletin.
