 Felipe Gonzalez was named President of Pegasus International. Mr. Gonzalez previously held the office of VP of Engineering and Operations. Also, Gary Willis was named manager of the Onshore Business Unit. Previously he was executive VP for TI Energy Services.

 The Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association announces the election of officers for the 2003 – 2004 term: George I Boyadjieff, chairman; L. Craig Ketchum, vice chairman; Robert L. Potter, first vice president; J. Wayne Richards, treasurer; and Christopher T. Seaver, secretary. Boyadjieff is a director and chairman emeritus of the board of Varco International, Inc. He was CEO of the company from 1991 to 2003, and has held numerous positions in his 33-year career. Ketchum is president and CEO of Red Man Pipe & Supply Co, a position he assumed in 1995. He also serves on the board of directors of PESA. Potter has been VP of FMC Technologies since 2001, and has served as division president of the Energy Transportation and Measurement Division of FMC Corp. Richards is VP of Well Completions & Productivity for Schlumberger Well Services, with operations responsibility for North and South America. Seaver is president and CEO of Hydril Co., a position he has held since 1993.

 D. Nathan Meehan, joined CMG Petroleum Consulting, Ltd., a Houston-based petroleum engineering consulting firm. Meehan was previously VP Engineering for Occidental E&P and general manager, E&P Technology, for Union Pacific Resources. He has been a World Oil editorial advisor for several years.

 Transocean Inc. has named Brenda Masters VP and controller, replacing Ricardo Rosa, who was named region manager for the company’s Asia and Australia region. Also, David Tonnel is assistant controller. Masters joined Transocean in 1996, where she became assistant controller. Rosa was VP and controller from 1999 to 2003. Tonnel joined the company in 1996 and was district controller covering various West African countries.

 Uniqema has appointed Vinod Palathinkara Commercial Development & Market manager responsible for oilfield and fiber finish businesses within the Americas. Palathinkara most recently served as senior development engineer.

 Jen-Luc Vermeulen, Total executive VP, president of Upstream and member of the executive committee, will retire in September 2003 after a career of 33 years in the E&P branch of Elf Aquitaine. Subsequently, Total Group will be reorganized so that both the E&P and Gas and Power divisions will report directly to the chairman and CEO. Christophe de Margerie is confirmed as Total Executive VP, president of E&P and member of the executive committee. Also, Yves-Louis Darricarrere is appointed Total executive VP, president of Gas and Power and member of the executive committee.

 Jeanne Perdue, former senior IT editor for Hart’s E&P magazine, has been hired as international e-Learning champion to market and support IHRDC’s online learning system devoted to E&P technology. Perdue will also write content about the natural gas business for new online learning modules and will update and expand IPIMS.ep content with the latest petroleum technologies.

 Neal Adams Services announced that Jeff Shadoin has joined the NAS team currently providing litigation support and forensic engineering services. Mr. Shadoin has over 20 years of experience in refinery operations. WO
