Flow controls The LO-CO Series is a turbine flowmeter for liquid service. It is an economical solution for many industrial applications. It is available in nine overlapping sizes from 1/4 in. to 2 in. Its performance specs provide ±1% accuracy, and it can be configured in a 4-to-20-mA output, conditioned pulse output or with indicator / totalizer packages. Portable ultrasonic flowmeter Designed for the PT878 Transport Portable Transit-Time Ultrasonic Flowmeter, language translation files are available in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian and Swedish. The files, which are based on XML, can log over 100,000 data points and then download the information to a PC. One to four parameters can be displayed simultaneously in split screens on a large LCD with electroluminescent backlight. A complete system includes the battery-operated, rechargeable PT878 electronics, a set of two ultrasonic transducers, a clamping fixture, and transducer cables that fit into a durable carrying case. The device connects to the back of the compressor and uses digital, overhead channel technology to provide real-time data via the Internet. This allows producers to view their data from remote locations. The device alerts them of the compressors’ status, the history of alarm notifications, run-time percentage calculations, downtime hours, and more. The system is customized for each company, and data is extremely safe from hackers and competition. It uses a 128-bit encrytion program that requires an authorized password each time it is accessed. Interpretation software MagicDesk is a desktop solution for the geoscience interpretation market. It combines the volume visualization and interpretation software, GeoProbe, with a cost effective PC platform using the Linux operating system. It ensures detailed analysis on reservoir-scale data. The software augments the firm’s previously released MagicStation and MagicVision systems. MagicDesk is compatible with Landmark Graphics’ R2003 Linux, and it will be packaged as a dual-monitor IBM IntelliStation M Pro with key graphic upgrades. It will run the Red Hat Linux operating system. (Magic Earth, Inc.) Zone isolation tool An inflatable, packer intervention system runs, sets, and releases on standard slick line. A preset timer with downhole memory sets the packer assembly with well bore fluids or carried inflation fluids. The system can be used for temporary or permanent plug backs, or to re-complete an upper zone. Scab liner with blank, screened or artificial lift is also available in sizes 2-1/8-in. OD and larger. (TAM International) In-stream H2S analyzer Model 4400 is a low-cost, easy-to-use tool that effectively monitors H2S levels in natural gas streams. It continuously detects H2S in the range of 0 to 100 ppm. This ensures that H2S levels in natural gas collection lines remain at acceptable levels to guard against the element’s corrosive effects on compressors, pipelines and process equipment. There is minimal maintenance with no tapes to replace, no conditioning solutions, no mechanical stream blenders to calibrate, and no hazardous material to dispose. Model 880 Series network control systems are available with WebLink monitoring and access capability. It serves as a host monitor and control system for both serial and analog networks of gas detection and other devices. It monitors at least 80 devices, displaying device status, programmable alarm outputs and automatic data logging of alarms and other events to a 3.5-in. floppy disk. The controller is equipped with a color, touch-screen display that can be configured to any set of zones and field devices. Model 880 is compatible with SCADA, DCS and PC-based systems.
