Denerco Oil just increased its share of the Nini License 4/95 in the Danish part of the North Sea from 25% to 30% through the acquisition of a 5% interest held by the German energy company WEW.

Hunting Oilfield acquired Thread Tech Energy Systems Ltd., a Calgary, Alberta, Canada-based supplier of oilfield tubulars, premium connections and associated products throughout Canada.

Parker Hannifin Corp. acquired the assets of Dayco Industrial from Mark IV/BC Partners.

McMoran Oil & Gas signed an agreement to sell three of its oil and gas properties for $60 million. Proceeds will be used to repay outstanding borrowings totaling $50.7 million and for other general corporate purposes.

Wood Group acquired the business and assets of TNG division of PT Bekasi Metal INTI Megah. Terms were not disclosed. The new Jakarta-based business will operate as PT Wood Group Pressure Control.

ExxonMobil Middle East Gas Marketing, the Kuwait Petroleum Corp. and Qatar Petroleum reached an agreement in principle to supply Kuwait with Qatari gas from the Enhanced Gas Utilization project operated by ExxonMobil in Qatar’s North field. Nominal capacity of the EGU is 1.75 Bcfd.

Hydrosearch Group acquired share capital in Geoprojects Ltd. and changed the Canadian unit name to Hydrosearch Canada Ltd.

Oil Stop, LLC, a Superior Energy Services company, has added solid float oil containment boom to its list of manufactured products and expanded its production facility. The firm’s capacity is now more than 2,000 cfd of foam-filled oil containment boom in its Harvey, Louisiana, facility.

Superior Energy Services, Inc. purchased all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Environmental Treatment Team (ETT). ETT’s waste management service minimizes generator liability through its treatment / reuse methods.

INTEC Engineering (UK) Ltd. has acquired Woking, Surrey-based Fuel Subsea Engineering, which develops and implements diverless subsea connection systems.

Laredo Energy was formed by R. Graham Whaling, Jim R. Smith and former senior management of Michael Petroleum Corp. to acquire and develop natural gas reserves in South Texas. The firm’s offices are in Houston and Laredo.

Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. won Shell Philippines Exploration’s (SPEX) Managing Director’s Outstanding Contractor’s Award. It was presented by SPEX Managing Director David Greer, in recognition of its outstanding performance in the six principal project tenets – health, safety, environment and security; sustainable development; cost; schedule and innovation and plant availability.

ECOM Instruments provides safe solutions to difficult tasks in hazardous areas. Its intrinsically safe magnet probe tests solenoid valves, relays, transformers and flowmeters.

Torch Offshore entered into an agreement for the purchase of the Smit Express, a 520-ft vessel, from Smit International for $9.75 million. It will be converted to a DP-2 offshore construction vessel and renamed the Midnight Express. WO
