Wood’s Chris Barton to lead FPSO Focus at Global Offshore Brazil Summit

Set to deploy 21 FPSOs by 2025, Brazil currently leads the world in offshore floating production development. As part of the Global Offshore Brazil Summit, in Rio de Janeiro March 4th and 5th 2020, Wood’s Chris Barton will lead an exclusive FPSO Focus speaker panel.

Barton, senior VP of business development for Wood, will present on innovations in FPSO design and delivery at the event. Bruce Crager, executive VP of the expert advisory group at Endeavor Management, will also speak on the panel, discussing the development of FPSO best practices. Additional panelists, on topics ranging from digitalization to gas monetization, will be confirmed in the coming days.

The Global Offshore Brazil Summit addresses the impact of Brazil’s transformation to a more competitive market let by multiple global operators which will drive long-term growth in the world’s most prolific Deepwater arena.
