If you are sending WorldOil.com the creative:

• Please make sure the online ad GIF, JPEG or Flash image dimensions are the proper size. 
• Ads with white or transparent backgrounds must include a 1 pixel-wide border. 
• For Flash creatives:
  • The clickTAG code (shown below) should be attached to an invisible button. An invisible button (a button that contains only a hit state) should be the same size as the ad unit and placed on the top layer of the Flash file. This code allows us to track the clicks for the ads. Please note clickTAG is case-sensitive.

  • A backup GIF or JPG must be provided for browsers without the Flash plugin.

There are three ways to submit online material:

1. E-mail the ad GIF/JPEG and URL link for the online ad graphic to Cheryl.Willis@GulfPub.com.
2. Post your online ad graphic on a Web page and e-mail instructions to Cheryl.Willis@GulfPub.com on where to pick it up.
3. Post your online ad graphic on your ftp site and e-mail instructions to Cheryl.Willis@GulfPub.com on how to pick it up.

Please specify:

1. Advertiser name 
2. GIF, JPEG or Flash file name(s)
3. Respective URL link(s)
4. Live date 
5. End date

AD CREATION

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

1. WorldOil.com reserves the right to refuse or take down any advertising considered unacceptable. 
2. Advertisements are made available by WorldOil.com upon the warranty of the agency and advertiser that they are authorized to make available on WorldOil.com the entire contents and subject matter thereof and on the advertiser's site on the Web as linked through WorldOil.com that such advertisement will not violate any law or infringe upon any right of any party.
3. Advertising buys are subject to the standard terms and conditions of WorldOil.com insertion orders. 
4. WorldOil.com shall not be subject to any liability whatsoever for any failure to provide reference or access to all or any part of the advertising due to systems failures or other technological failures of the Web or other circumstances beyond WorldOil.com's control. 
5. WorldOil.com is not responsible for errors in advertising provided by the advertiser or its agency. 
6. Rates are subject to change. 

PAYMENT

Full payment is required (one month minimum) with insertion order. However, advertisers with current calendar year ad contracts with World Oil magazine will be invoiced with 30-day terms. Thereafter a monthly invoice will be sent. Make checks payable to Gulf Publishing Company. The advertiser and agency are jointly and severally liable for payment of invoices for advertising on WorldOil.com.
