WWT International Inc. reorganizes U.S. operations
HOUSTON -- WWT International Inc. announced that it has reorganized its operations in the U.S. into three separate operating entities, effective Jan. 1. Since its inception in 1988, WWT International (formerly Western Well Tool) has been active in drilling, completion and intervention products and services.
The creation of the three separate operating companies—Houston-based WWT International Drilling Tool Services and WWT International Coiled Tubing Services; and Anaheim, Calif.-based WWT International Engineering Services—enables each to fully focus on their respective core businesses and expertise.
WWT International Drilling Tool Services, LLC
The WWT Non-Rotating Protector (NRP)-related business will be part of WWT International Drilling Tool Services. The new company offers products and engineering services that improve drilling performance, such as WWT Protectors for torque, drag and well integrity through casing wear control. Clive Mitchell, V.P., sales and operations, who has been with WWT International since 1996, will direct the new company.
WWT International Coiled Tubing Services, LLC
WWT International Coiled Tubing Services includes WWT International’s record-setting WWT Coiled Tubing Tractor, and other products and services, such as the WWT Anti-Compression Sub (ACS) and the WWT Clean-Out Sub (COS). Thomas Bragaw, V.P., sales and operations, who was a senior manager at WWT International for more than six years, will manage the new company.
WWT International Engineering Services, LLC
The third company, WWT International Engineering Services, is dedicated to the development of custom engineered solutions and products for the oil and gas industry. It will be under the direction of Dr. N.B. “Bruce” Moore, V.P., who has been with WWT International for 19 years as director of engineering.
