Unplanned outage at UK Total' s St Fergus gas terminal

LONDON -- An unplanned outage at Total' s St. Fergus gas terminal has resulted in the loss of about 10 MMcmpd production.

The outage duration is unknown, Total E&P United Kingdom said.

The St. Fergus Gas Terminal is about 35 miles north of Aberdeen, Scotland and provides about 20% of the United Kingdom’s daily gas requirements. The terminal receives and processes gas from more than 20 North Sea fields, transports offshore gas to shore and delivers gas to shippers.
