TAM International strengthens global services with new hires
HOUSTON -- TAM International announced the appointment of Mike Machowski to chief operating officer of TAM’s international operations and Francisco Suarez to vice president of the Western Hemisphere.
Both Machowski and Suarez previously held executive leadership positions within the company and will continue to promote growth in their new roles within the organization.
As COO, Machowski will focus on enhancing and improving the international locations’ capabilities in order to execute TAM’s global business strategy and objectives. In his previous position as vice president and director of Canadian operations, Machowski established, managed and expanded the region’s sales and operation efforts.
As vice president of the Western Hemisphere, Suarez will oversee Latin America and Canada, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the new position. In his previous role as director of Latin America, Suarez secured a contract with PEMEX, establishing TAM in Mexico’s market. Suarez also moved the Latin American headquarters to Bogotá, Colombia to better meet the needs of the region.
Machowski has more than 37 years of experience in the industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University. Machowski is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers (CADE), and the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC).
Suarez has more than 29 years of industry experience, predominantly in international markets. Suarez holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Suarez is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Colombian Association of Petroleum Engineers (ACIPET).
