Statoil resumes production at Troll C platform in North Sea

Norwegian oil and gas major Statoil said that production on its Troll C platform in the North Sea has resumed, following a shutdown on November 15 due to corrosion found in tanks used to treat gas.Production was resumed between 17 and 18 November.
As an alternative production method, the company will reinject untreated gas into the reservoir.This method will allow it to produce at around 70% of full capacity during the repairs.The duration of the repair work has not yet been clarified.
