Statoil resumes production at Hammerfest LNG plant
HAMMERFEST, Norway -- Statoil said the Hammerfest LNG plant is back in normal production after the temporary closure of the plant following a power failure on 19 November. Interference to the power system, which arose during maintenance work on the plant's battery-based reserve power supply, led to the plant's own power and that from the grid being switched off.
