BY OBAFEMI OREDEIN
IBADAN -- Shell said that a team will conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire that led to the shutdown of the Trans Niger pipeline in the country's Niger Delta.
Shell spokesman Tony Okonedo said in a statement that the team that will visit the site includes regulators, Ministry of Environment officials, community members, SPDC officials and independent observers.
The 28-in. pipeline that carries 150 Mbopd was shut June 19 following an explosion and a fire at a crude theft point.
