Saipem signs $1.1 billion in new contracts

MILAN--Italian engineering services provider Saipem said it had signed 846 million euros ($1.1 billion) worth of engineering and construction contracts for offshore projects in Africa.
Saipem said in a statement it had won a contract with Burullus Gas Co in Egypt to develop the West Delta Deep Marine Phase IXa Project.
In Angola, it had signed a contract with EPCI for subsea facilities.
