ROMAR International appoints General Manger at Aberdeenshire HQ
ABERDEEN -- Aberdeenshire-based oilfield service company ROMAR International has appointed a Malcolm Mackenzie as general manger with the responsibility of managing overall performance of the company’s operations, recruitment, development and financial profitability.
Mackenzie joins the company after accumulating many years’ experience within the oil and gas industry. He was previously employed at Coates Offshore for two years, where he latterly held the position of technical support manager.
Before this, he worked at M-I SWACO for nearly 13 years where he held many positions both in Aberdeen and overseas, with his last post being senior technical service engineer for M-I SWACO Environmental Solutions segment.
Within his new role at ROMAR, Malcolm will implement and maintain standards and policies for providing customer support, technical support, technical training, field service and product sales. He will also be responsible for assisting operations, sales and customer service groups in global business opportunities and contracts.
