Production from Huntington oil field interrupted

STAVANGER, Norway -- Production from the Huntington field in the UK has been interrupted since 12 April whilst work is undertaken to replace a number of couplings that are part of the inert gas system on the floating production and storage unit.

According to information conveyed by the operator to the license partners, the work is now progressing as planned and a full production restart is expected between 30 April and 7 May.

Assuming no further production this month, the Huntington production will constitute a daily average for April of approximately 1,900 boe to Noreco. For comparison, Huntington yielded 5,573 boe to Noreco in March.
