PTT signs 20 year LNG supply pact with Qatargas

BANGKOK -- PTT said it signed an agreement to buy 2 million tons of LNG per year from Qatar Liquefied Gas Co over the next 20 years. PTT said in a statement the first delivery will be in January 2015.
The contract will help ensure Thailand's long term national energy security, particularly as production from the Gulf of Thailand and imports from neighboring countries aren't enough to meet domestic demand, it said.
