Statoil starts drilling Lupin prospect in Norwegian North Sea

STAVANGER -- Norwegian Energy Co said that drilling of an exploration well on the Lupin prospect in the Norwegian North Sea has started.

The exploration well is being drilled is 16/8-3 S on the Lupin prospect in licence PL360. The well is being drilled using the drilling rig Songa Trym.

Noreco has a 15% interest in licence PL360, which is operated by Statoil.
