Mirmorax announces key new appointments
STAVANGER -- Mirmorax AS, an industry leader in sampling, monitoring and processing solutions to the oil & gas industry, has announced a number of new appointments as the company continues to grow.
Erlend Blanchard has been appointed as the new Business Unit Manager for Mirmorax Oil in Water and comes to Mirmorax with more than 15 years of experience working with oil and gas technology companies.
In addition, Svein Torkelsen has been appointed the new Technical Product Manager for the Mirmorax Oil in Water products. Svein has broad experience within the oil and gas industry, including a background in programming as well as business experience working with some of the larger EPC's. He will be responsible for further developing the company’s oil in water monitoring portfolio which was acquired from Roxar, a business unit of Emerson Process Management, in 2011.
Mirmorax has also bolstered its R&D capabilities with the appointment of Snorre Løge as an R&D engineer to be based in the Mirmorax laboratory. Snorre is a petroleum engineer by background from the University of Stavanger and has several years experience in the field which will be particularly useful as Mirmorax seeks to bring ever more innovative projects to market.
Finally, Mirmorax has also appointed Malene H. Sørensen as Marketing Project Manager responsible for promoting the company and its involvement at many of the world’s oil & gas trade shows and Anna Trishkina has been appointed as the company’s new Finance and Administration Assistant.
“We are delighted to be making these new appointments as we continue to seek the brightest and best managers and engineers in the oil & gas business”, continues Mirmorax CEO, Eivind Gransaether.
He continues: “The appointments are also testament to our continued growth and the growing interest from operators in our innovative sampling, monitoring and processing solutions.”
Established in 2009, Mirmorax’s goal is to become the industry’s leading provider of subsea sampling systems in the oil and gas industry. In October 2010, Mirmorax won the Enger Innovation Award from the Norwegian Polytechnic Society.
The Mirmorax Subsea Multiphase Sampling System (SMSS) overcomes the limitations of many of today’s subsea sampling technologies by delivering true volumetric sampling on oil, gas and water in the well without interrupting production. This will result in improved multiphase meter calibration and the accurate capturing of fluid properties throughout the lifetime of the field – invaluable for chemical analysis and EOR activities.
The Mirmorax oil-in-water monitoring solution provides accurate, real-time information on the amount of sand and oil dispersed in water leading to improved monitoring and control over re-injection and water discharge, the efficient monitoring of the separation process, and optimized production through the enhanced design and use of separators and filters.
