Max Petroleum drilling exploration well in Kazakhstan
LONDON -- Max Petroleum has commenced drilling the ESKN-1 exploration well on Kazakhstan's Eskene North prospect on a new location on Block E using Zhanros Drilling’s ZJ-20 rig. Total vertical depth of the well will be approximately 1,400 m.
The Eskene North prospect is a four-way anticline targeting unrisked mean resources of 9 MMbbl of oil in Triassic reservoirs.
