    Knowledge Systems has named several people to new positions created as part of its global expansion. Steve Hobart, senior technical advisor for global operations, will transition from his 10-year tenure as principal geopressure analyst. Alejandro Arboleda, EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) business development manager, will transfer from his current position as Latin America account manager and relocate to London. He previously worked for Geoservices. Sean Mauk, Asia/Pacific business development manager, joins Knowledge Systems' new office in Perth, Australia. He previously worked for Aker/Kvaerner in Australia and Indonesia. Pride International, Inc., appointed K. George Wasaff as CEO for Latin America Land and E&P Services. Also, James M. Mitchell has joined the company as CFO, and Carlos F. Etcheverry, previously VP, E&P Services, was named COO for the same division. Since 2005, Wasaff has been employed by Ashmore Energy International as an executive VP, and as senior VP of Operations and Administration for Prisma Energy.
