Petronas makes two gas discoveries offshore Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR -- Petronas said it has discovered natural gas at two fields offshore Sarawak. Initial tests show the Kuang North field and Tukau Timur well contain 2.3 Tcf and 2.1 Tcf of gas reserves, respectively, the company said in a statement.
Petronas added the Tukau Timur well is located in a block jointly operated with Shell with each holding 50% stake.
