Maersk Drilling gets $100 million harsh environment rig contract
COPENHAGEN -- Danish industrial conglomerate A.P. Moller-Maersk said its oil and gas drilling services arm, Maersk Drilling, has received a two-year contract for the use of its harsh-environment jackup rig Maersk Endurer at a drilling project offshore Cameroon.
The contract has a value of around $100 million, and is expected to commence in late October, Maersk Drilling said. The exploration project is being conducted by Addax Petroleum and Sinopec.
