Lukoil sees hydrocarbon output up at least 3%
MOSCOW -- Lukoil plans to raise its hydrocarbon output 3% or more this year, said CEO Vagit Alekperov, according to Interfax news agency.
Mr. Alekperov said the company still plans to raise oil production 1.5-2% this year compared with last.
"Oil has practically stabilized now. We are making a lot of effort to stabilize it in West Siberia. On the whole this is a problem for most fields in Russia that are in the latter stage of their development" he is quoted as saying.
