Indian Oil, Kogas sign pact to explore oil and gas opportunities

MUMBAI -- Indian Oil said that it has signed an initial pact with Kogas to jointly explore for oil and gas opportunities. The companies will participate in the exploration and production of oil and gas at the global level, including LNG sourcing, Indian Oil said in a statement.
The companies need to carry the pact forward and make progress in areas identified for cooperation in a timely manner, said Indian Oil chairman R.S. Butola.Kogas is the national gas company of South Korea and the world's largest single importer of LNG.
