GAIL may look to buy Repsol' s stake in Canada LNG project

MUMBAI -- Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) may consider buying a stake in Repsol Canaport LNG project in Canada, The Times of India reported. GAIL is exploring a participating interest in a consortium led by Gas Natural Fenosa, which is evaluating a bid in the liquefied natural gas project after being approached by Repsol, the newspaper said, quoting unidentified sources. 

Repsol is seeking buyers for its 75% stake in Canaport LNG, valued around $562.06 million, the newspaper said.
