Foster Marketing makes two new hires
LAFAYETTE -- Foster Marketing, a full-service marketing communications firm serving the worldwide energy industry, has appointed Laurel Hess as an account executive and Julie Welch as a public relations account executive, announced President Tiffany Harris.
Hess is responsible for cultivating new client relationships while developing and implementing unique and strategic marketing plans for clients.
Welch’s responsibilities include creating and implementing public relations programs and activities for Foster Marketing and its clients, including directing, writing and distributing news, feature and technical articles.
Previously, Hess served as the sales and marketing manager for the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the New Orleans Arena and Champions Square where she planned and managed the marketing for national events and assisted with media relations.
Most recently, Hess managed the Superdome’s marketing effort for the Super Bowl in January and the NCAA Women’s Final Four in March. She also worked on the 2012 Allstate BCS Championship and the 2012 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
Welch previously was PR Coordinator at Kimberly Public Affairs (KPA) and focused on crisis and media training, social media and writing press releases.
