BY CASSIE WERBER
LONDON -- The daily volume of North Sea Forties blend crude oil available for April rose compared with March, traders said.
The April loading program is scheduled at 400 Mbopd, compared with 368 Mbopd in the previous month, the program showed. The program consists of 20 standard 600 Mbbl cargoes. It is equivalent to a total volume of 12 MMbbl, 1 cargo more than in March.
There is also 1 cargo deferred from the March program that will now be loading in April, according to a trader, making a total of 21 cargoes.
More than 50 oil fields make up the Forties blend, with the Buzzard field the largest component field, operated by Nexen, a unit of CNOOC. The Forties pipeline system is fully owned and operated by BP
