Five oil company groups eye Repsol LNG assets sale

NEW YORK -- Five groups out of the initial 15 are still interested in buying the LNG assets put up for sale by Spanish oil company Repsol, reports Cinco Dias in its internet edition, citing unidentified sources.

The potential buyers are Russia's Gazprom and Novatek as well as Sinopec, India's Gail and France's Total, the paper adds. The company is looking to raise some $3.9 billion, according to Cinco Dias.
