Equalizer International appoints new Western Hemisphere personnel
HOUSTON -- Equalizer International, a designer and developer of flange management tools, has appointed Hector Santos as its first sales and marketing manager, Western Hemisphere. Based in the company’s new Houston office, Santos is charged with growing Equalizer’s business throughout the American hemisphere, and will be responsible for managing Equalizer’s key accounts in the United States.
Prior to joining Equalizer, Santos worked for the Pipeline Products group of Baker Hughes, and started his own hydraulics and bolting company.
This appointment is one of four new posts introduced by Equalizer to support its global growth over the past 12 months. Heading up the sales and marketing team will be Colin Gough, who joined the company last year and has been promoted to global sales and marketing manager. Gough is based in the company’s Aberdeen headquarters. Prior to joining Equalizer, he held a senior business development role covering Europe, Africa and Russia for a manufacturer supplying the oil and gas market.
Rob Bell joins the company as sales engineer to develop Equalizer’s UK and Norwegian markets. He has worked in a number of heavy manufacturing and engineering companies, and has extensive experience with the UK oil and gas, power generation and water industries.
Thomas Rhodes has been appointed technical support manager, and will act as the interface between customers and the internal engineering teams.
