Energy Secretary Steven Chu stepping down
WASHINGTON D.C. -- Energy Secretary Steven Chu is stepping down, a report from Bloomberg TV said. Chu, who has been secretary since 2009, shared a Nobel Prize in physics and angered conservatives with comments he made in 2008 advocating higher gasoline prices. Chu is the latest cabinet secretary to step down before President Barack Obama begins his second term.
