The well will be drilled using the Maersk Giant jack-up drilling facility. The facility was built in 1986 at Hiatchi Zosen in Japan. The Maersk Giant is owned and operated by Maersk Drilling. The facility is registered in Denmark and Lloyds is the classification society. The facility received an AoC from the PSA in February 2004.
