Dolphin' s new 3D seismic vessel fully operational in Barents Sea
OSLO, Norway -- Dolphin Geophysical has announced that its high-capacity, 3D seismic vessel, Sanco Sword, is in full seismic production with 12 seismic cables, of 7 km length, on the Gohta North and Gohta East multi-client surveys in the Barents Sea.
The prospective Gohta survey areas were planned and designed together with local area operators, who also provided project pre-funding to allow for the survey to be acquired in time for the Norwegian 23rd. and APA 2014 licensing round.
Dolphin' s COO, Peter Hooper commented, "We expect the same excellent operational performance from the Sanco Sword as delivered to date by her sister vessel, the Sanco Swift."
