Det Norske drills dry well in North sea

TRONDHEIM -- Det norske oljeselskap said it has completed the drilling of a wildcat well on the Augunshaug Prospect in the North Sea, encountering no hydrocarbons.

Wildcat well 2/1-15, on the Augunshaug Prospect, is located in the North Sea, east of the Gyda Field.

Det norske oljeselskap has completed the drilling operations and the well will now be permanently plugged and abandoned.

Det norske is operator of PL 542 and has an ownership of 60%. License partner is Tullow Oil Norway 40%.
