Det Norske Oljeselskap dry well on Isbjorn prospect in North Sea

Det Norske Oljeselskap  said  that an exploration well on the Isbjorn prospect in the North Sea is water bearing. The drilling of the well will now continue to planned total depth, and the data acquisition will be completed as planned.

The well is being drilled in the southern part of the North Sea, at an ocean depth of 83 meters.

Talisman Energy is the operator of the license, holding a 40% interest. Det norske has a 20% interest, and the other partners are Edison 10% and Skagen 10%.
