Dana Petroleum awarded new licenses in North Sea
LONDON -- Dana Petroleum has been awarded two new licenses in the UK North Sea, one of which is close to the Tolmount gas discovery in which Dana has a 50 percent equity share with operator E.ON.
The Department of Energy and Climate Change approved three blocks in two licenses in the 27th Licensing Round. Dana has been awarded 42/28e, 42/29b and 48/10c all with E.ON as operator.
The first two blocks are close to the license in which the Tolmount gas discovery was made. 48/10c is close to existing infrastructure.
