Clean Harbors opens lodge near Alberta oil sands
FORT McMURRAY, Alberta -- Clean Harbors, a North American provider of environmental, energy and industrial services, has recently opened its sixth open lodge in the Fort McMurray oil sands, called Ruth Lake Lodge.
Clean Harbors designed an interactive 604-room facility enabling companies to provide their employees with a comfortable social, recreational and interactive environment that helps create happier and more productive employees.
The 235,000-sq-ft Ruth Lake Lodge includes two executive boardrooms with high-definition video conferencing capabilities, as well as a business center with offices and workstations. Amenities include a Golf Simulator, private theater room, a 5,000-sq-ft recreation room, a 4,000-sq-ft workout facility and a restaurant-like dining room.
The facility is 26 km north of Fort McMurray, between the Suncor and Syncrude oil sands facilities.
