LIMA -- The Camisea consortium expects to maintain production of natural gas liquids at around 100,000 Bpd from its blocks in southeastern Peru, Hunt Oil which is part of the consortium, said.
In September, Peru produced 96,591 Bpd of natural gas liquids, up from 88,776 Bpd in August, according to state agency Perupetro. Almost all of the production came from Camisea's Block 88 and Block 56.
Hunt Oil's general manager in Peru, Barbara Bruce, told reporters that the increase was due to an expansion at the Malvinas plant. "The number of wells and the dimension of the structures that Camisea has at Block 88 are such that we'll be able to maintain that rate," Ms. Bruce said when asked about the outlook for natural gas liquids.
The Camisea consortium also includes Pluspetrol Peru ,SK Holdings, Tecpetrol,Techint Group,Sonatrach Petroleum,Repsol .
