Atkins awarded ENI framework for Western Australian assets

PERTH, Australia -- Atkins has been awarded a two year framework with major integrated energy company, ENI, for the provision of general engineering services. The two year framework, with the opportunity to extend one year, will encompass the provision of engineering and consultancy services to ENI across their portfolio of operating assets in Australia.

In addition, Atkins will provide support across the ENI non-operating assets and any future developments. Currently these assets include the Blacktip Field (WHP & onshore gas plant) and the Kitan Field.

Atkins’ operations director for Oil and Gas in Perth, Nick Wells, commented: “Having previously worked on a number of projects with ENI in Australia, we have been able to build on the quality of these previous engagements and further demonstrate our ability to respond to the multidisciplinary technical demands and challenges that face our industry."

Atkins’ oil and gas experience in this region includes Apache’s Varanus Island Compression Project, INPEX’s Ichthys flow assurance work and Woodside’s Pluto project.
