Alexander Energy completes and tests Alberta well

CALGARY -- Alexander Energy has announced the completion and testing of its 15-12-56-27W4 well in Alberta. The well was recently drilled, cased, completed, and tested. At the end of the production test, rates were over 120 bopd plus associated gas, although initial production is only expected to range from 60 to 90 bpd plus associated gas once it is producing in through the production facilities.

Alexander is the operator and has a 94% WI in the well. Construction of pipelines and a production satellite is underway, and production is expected to commence before by the end of 2012.

"This is an important well for the Company as it extends our proven field to the north, confirms our seismic data and interpretation, establishes up to 4 additional lower risk development wells, and furthers plans to proceed with the testing of a water flood for the Detrital C Pool," saud Akexander Energy in a news release.
