Air Energi opens new office to support shale boom
DENVER, Colorado -- Air Energi Group has opened a new office in Denver, Colorado, to complement its current U.S. presence and boost its activities in North America' s booming shale oil and gas sector.
Led by recruitment professional Doug Thorner, the office is Air Energi' s seventh location in North America and will support the Rocky Mountain Region and the West including Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming and California. Along with being an active member of The Western Energy Alliance and the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, Thorner has sat on the Board of Directors of the Denver Petroleum Club for the past four years.
"Denver has grown to become the oil and gas industry' s shale hub for the Western U.S.," states Doug Thorner, Lead Consultant at Air Energi. "Our new office will be instrumental in fully engaging with the oil-rich shale plays of the region. From this site, we will be offering our full suite of services covering talent acquisition, global mobility and integrated project solutions to Colorado' s thriving energy sector."
Air Energi has gained considerable experience in supporting local shale activity via its Midland office, but will look to expand its expertise with the addition of this new location. Two of the largest and most promising shale plays, the Bakken and Niobrara, are being managed directly out of Denver.
